Start with the hotel address

A Cancun airport transfer is easiest to compare when you know exactly where you are staying. A hotel advertised as being in “Cancún” might need a different booking option from a resort further along the Riviera Maya. Enter the full property name and address, check that the arrival airport is CUN, and choose the direction you need. Arrival, departure and round trip are separate booking choices. A low headline price only becomes useful once those choices match your itinerary.

It is not a promise that every hotel costs the same or that a particular vehicle will be assigned. Confirm capacity, luggage and any special requirements before paying. Private service does not always mean a vehicle price

Some private transfers display a starting price per person. Others show a price for a group up to a stated size. Neither label alone tells you which reservation will cost less for your party. Enter the same date, destination, passenger count and direction for each product, then compare the totals. A group price also has a capacity limit; it is not an invitation to bring extra travellers without changing the booking.

The featured standard and luxury America Transfers listings use a per-person display. Beto Go’s Hotel Zone listing displays a group of up to eight, the TQO shuttles a group of up to three, and Muvon’s Tesla a group of up to four. Match the vehicle to people and bags

A private ride is particularly convenient when everyone is going to the same address. It also lets you focus the booking discussion on your party’s needs: suitcases, pushchairs, child seats or mobility equipment. Maximum passenger capacity does not establish unlimited luggage room. Send the operator the details of anything bulky and ask for an explicit answer before choosing a vehicle.

The Muvon Tesla transfer to Tulum lists seating for four, three large bags and four small bags. Baby or booster seats are paid requests. The TQO private shuttle to Playa del Carmen lists car seats among its inclusions, but parents should still confirm size and availability. A shared shuttle can mean another journey afterwards

The shared shuttle to Playa del Carmen in our comparison ends at Tukan Hotel. It does not include drop-off at every passenger’s hotel. If you are staying elsewhere, account for the onward journey, its cost and moving the luggage again. The source also asks for reservations at least 48 hours in advance. Check the available departure before making plans around it.

Compare that arrangement with a private transfer to your agreed hotel address, rather than treating both products as identical journeys. Follow your own provider’s meeting instructions

Terminal pickup points vary between operators. America Transfers lists Welcome Bar for Terminal 2 Domestic, Grab & Go for Terminal 2 International, Margaritaville Bar for Terminal 3 and Column Platform C for Terminal 4. Beto Go’s Terminal 4 instruction instead names Welcome Bar opposite Platform D. These differences matter: do not combine instructions from two reservations.

After collecting your luggage, follow the current voucher and look for the correct company or name sign. Arrange the return before departure day

For a round-trip booking, provide both flights and agree the hotel collection time. The listed transfer duration does not include every part of leaving the hotel, travelling through traffic and reaching your airline’s check-in deadline. Work back from your flight using the airline’s instructions and the provider’s estimate for your particular hotel.

Service hours are product-specific. Beto Go’s Hotel Zone transfer currently lists operation from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., even though online booking is available at any hour.
