Plan Your Tulum Journey
CUN and TQO are different origins
These transfers start at Cancún International Airport, CUN, with Tulum as the destination. Tulum Airport uses TQO. Check the flight confirmation before booking: a transfer from one airport cannot be assumed to collect you at the other. The hotel name alone does not resolve that difference.
Confirm the exact accommodation
Send the full Tulum hotel or accommodation address and ask the provider to confirm coverage in the option you choose. A generic town name is insufficient for matching a particular hotel, beach-road property or rental address. If you change hotels after booking, request an updated confirmation and check whether the price changes.
Private van: the TQO option
TQO lists air-conditioned private transport, an airport host, a bilingual driver, passenger insurance, water and car seats. The headline price is for a group of up to three. Child-seat size and availability still need confirmation. Additional stops, tips and food or drinks other than the listed water are not included.
Tesla: a smaller vehicle with explicit limits
Muvon lists a Tesla for up to four passengers, space for three large and four small bags, charging ports and bottled water. Baby or booster seats are paid requests, and extra stops or waiting can incur charges. Send details of bulky luggage before choosing the car over a van; the published bag counts do not answer every sizing question.
Duration is not an airport-to-check-in guarantee
Muvon lists two hours for the transfer. TQO uses a one-day validity label rather than a dependable drive-time estimate. Both are different from the full interval after your flight lands: arrival formalities, baggage collection, pickup coordination and traffic can add time. Confirm an estimate for your accommodation and avoid attaching a tight onward appointment.
A transfer is not a sightseeing package
TQO’s gallery shows Tulum scenery and archaeological structures. Those pictures provide destination context; the transfer does not include a guided ruins visit, admission or an unarranged stop. For the return journey, book the hotel-to-CUN direction and confirm the departure collection time with the operator.
